RECENT PROJECTS
Anime Conventions During & After Covid-19 (full dataset here)
This survey, which was launched in April 2021 and ran through September 2021, collected information from anime con-goers and fans. It asked how these groups experienced and considered changes in the anime convention scene during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in 2020-2021 before cons widely resumed in-person events.
The Tolkien Fanfiction Survey (Twitter)
This survey, which was launched in August 2020 and ran through March 2021, has collected self-reported data on the habits, beliefs, and preferences of Tolkien fans who participate in reading and/or writing fanfiction. This is the second survey in a longitudinal research project conducted to learn more about the practices of Tolkien fans in relation to Tolkien's books and Jackson's films.
